I am a nostalgic moma of three kiddos. And I love to reuse baby items for my children that once belonged to me. But, some items will sit around gathering dust long before baby is old enough to use them. For instance, this handmade babydoll crib my dad gifted me when I was five years old.
My newborn will not use this anytime soon. And as there is limited space in her room, I don’t want it hanging around without any purpose. This is where I decided to get creative. I had no place to put all of her baby blankets. I thought using this babydoll crib would be the cutest (and most functional) way of displaying/storing the blankets.
As this cradle is pretty old and dirty (despite many cleanings), I decided to line it first with a blanket.

Then, I took each blanket and rolled them up before placing in the cradle. This way all blankets were visible and easy to grab.

After all blankets are put in, it looks so tidy and cute!
