Are you one of those gals who hates to carry a purse? Do you find it a burden to lug it around the store constantly having the strap slide off your shoulder? Are you one of the few who abandoned what most women consider a staple in their wardrobe to opt for a debit card in the pocket? Well, that’s me and unfortunately this post is not about purse hacks and solutions. Its about a sister issue: diaper bags.

As a woman who hates to carry a purse, I’m also the woman who hates to carry around a diaper bag. As a mom, I know it’s a necessity to travel everywhere with anything your baby might need….at all times. So, as a 3rd time mom, I’ve come up with a couple of diaper bag “hacks” or solutions.

  1. Cute Everyday bag

If you hate carrying around a purse, then I’m sure you also don’t want a 2nd piece of baggage to carry around. Why not combine them? I’ve always disliked how diaper bags look. They look so much like…..a diaper bag. They’re usually shorter than a bookbag, but slightly wider. They also have more padding for some reason? Try a mini backpack or a large purse.

I found this this faux leather bag on Amazon to use as my diaper bag. It holds all of my baby essentials and even a wallet (if needed). Its nice quality and super cute!

2. Diaper Clutch.

For my first two babies, I used what I call a “diaper clutch” when I didn’t feel like bringing the entire diaper bag. Its just any small bag that can fit a few diapers and a pack of wipes. You can also fit in some smelly diaper bags and throw-away changin pads. I found this clear bag at Walmart. I also have used a fanny pack (or crossbody bag) in a pinch as well.

3. Back of seat organizer

Another option is to use an organizer that you can hang on the back of your seats. If you’re one to change diapers in the car, this is a game changer. You can put diapers, wipes, change of clothes, baby toys, baby teethers, pacifiers and so much more. The perfect thing is that this is a great option as your baby grows into a toddler and up. It has come in handy with my boys when they were potty changing. I always kept a change of clothes in it and any other necessities. As you can see here, mine is pretty well-used.

Here’s a photo of what it looked like before heavy use.

I keep my “diaper clutches” in here, a lovely combo.

Try one of these if you’re like me…. hater of carrying objects. Let me know what you think!
